It is really important to choose the Usui Reiki Master that feels good energetically to you. You definitely want to receive the Reiki healing energy, attunements and symbols from a Usui Reiki Master who vibrates at a higher level than you do at the time of the attunements. Usui Reiki is the cornerstone of all Reiki energy healing systems. There are usually three levels to Usui Reiki. In the first level, you receive an attunement which opens you up to the Reiki healing energy. Once this pathway is established you are able to channel Reiki healing energy for the rest of your life. The kewl thing I find in the second level is the ability to transmit Reiki energy healing distantly - Usui Reiki is perhaps the first distant energy healing modality. In the third level you receive the Master symbol and some other ones and can usually transmit these healing energies on to others at that time.
